September 7

Sunday morning wasn't anywhere near as relaxed as our perfect Saturday morning. Ben and mom talked ceaselessly about the schedule, trying to make it work, deciding if Ben needed to go to Idaho Falls, and what time everybody should be home by to have dinner with Kent and Jim. Despite all this, we got a fairly early start to go back our to our patch of huckleberries and pick for a couple of hours. Eventually we all got bored because there was so many berries, and mom lost her good sunglasses so we searched for them for a little while, but didn't find them. From there, we drove out to a tiny hot springs called Heise Hot springs, through Rexburg, which we've all decided is actually a really nice place with nice views everywhere. Unfortunately the summer pool wasn't open, so neither was the slide, which was unfortunate. There was still two other pools, which were too hot and too cool, but Larissa and I managed to spend an hour and a half moving between these two pools, while mom coordinated details for the dinner party Monday night. Timing worked out perfectly and we got in time to have a very nice dinner with Jim and Kent.
